My name is Aloni Harris and I’m a proud alumna of the Chicago Bulls College Prep class of 2017. I just started my second semester of freshman year at Yale University.

At Bulls, I found myself welcomed into a challenging and supportive community that was invested in me as a student and as a person. My teachers and my classmates pushed me because they believe in every family’s right to a high quality education.

I’m sharing my story with you today because I believe the mission of Elevate Chicago has never been more important than it is right now.

Elevate Chicago is a coalition of parents, educators, school leaders, and community leaders who believe every child in Chicago deserves a great public school, no matter what neighborhood they live in.  If you believe this too, you can join today to get more involved.
